Lauren is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Princeton Sports and Family Medicine in 2017.

Lauren graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Through her work with the Health Federation of Philadelphia’s Early Head Start Program, she developed a passion for community health and the promotion of health literacy throughout the lifespan.

Lauren earned her Master of Science in Nursing with the University of Pennsylvania’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program, a program consistently ranked among the best in the world. Her graduate work focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and chronic conditions in the primary care setting.  Her capstone project focused on the role and efficacy of mindfulness in chronic pain management.  She received her board certification from the ANCC and is a licensed provider and prescriber in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

At Princeton Family Medicine, Lauren is dedicated to consulting current clinical practice guidelines, providing evidence-based care, and collaborating with her interdisciplinary partners to ensure the best treatment for her patients.  She believes optimal health outcomes are the result of strong patient-provider relationships, education, and shared decision-making.

Lauren provides care for patients across the lifespan, from adolescents to senior citizens.  She provides Annual Wellness Exams, and treats a variety of primary care illnesses, including cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, dermatological concerns, musculoskeletal problems, sexually-transmitted diseases, and mental health disorders.  Lauren also offers women’s health care, including Annual Well Woman Exams, birth control counseling, breast exams, gynecological problems, and peri-menopause counseling.

Professional memberships include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.  She has also been published in the Journal of Human Lactation for her research on FDA regulation of human milk banking.

In addition to healthcare, Lauren’s interests include reading, baking, and traveling.  She enjoys spending time with her family at the New Jersey shore and at her family home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
