Erik DeOcera PT, DPT

Erik DeOcera, PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine in Lawrenceville, NJ. He is currently enrolled in the Temple University Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency (2026–2027), where he is furthering his knowledge on the treatment of orthopaedic conditions.

Erik graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia through the 3+3 accelerated BS-DPT program. Throughout his time at SJU, he was highly involved in the Student Physical Therapy Club and served as a student ambassador for the physical therapy department. He has a strong interest in orthopedic manual therapy and the treatment of acute and chronic sports-related injuries, with plans to continue advancing his clinical expertise in these areas.

In addition to his outpatient orthopedic experience, Erik has worked in ICU and inpatient rehabilitation settings, including prosthetic rehabilitation and the treatment of patients with neurologic injuries.

He is actively involved in early professional organizations through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). Outside of clinical practice, Erik enjoys landscape and portrait photography, strength training, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
